Oscar Marin - management and operations

Oscar Marin handles the business side of Chelsea Restoration and also assists with restoration treatments. Oscar has been friends with Amy and John since art school. He holds a B.F.A. in Painting from Tyler School of Art, an M.S. in Arts Administration from Drexel University and completed an Executive Leadership Program at U.C.L.A. Anderson School of Management. After graduate school, Oscar received two fellowships in Washington, D.C. One at the National Endowment for the Arts Presenting and Commissioning Program and one as a Visiting Museum Scholar at the Smithsonian Institute’s Experimental Gallery. At the start of his career Oscar worked in Arts Administration for the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, The Yellow Springs Institute, The Studio Museum in Harlem and The American Council for the Arts. In 1999 he transitioned to work in television at Showtime Networks and Viacom’s MTV Networks before joining Chelsea and returning to the Fine Arts in 2019. Those familiar with Chelsea Restoration have observed the growth and refinement of the company that has taken place since Oscar came on board. We are thrilled at the company’s success since Oscar joined our senior management team.

Lauren Cherry

Lauren Cherry is a seasoned multidisciplinary artist described by the New York Times as a "modern day Michelangelo". Her works have been published in numerous interior design journals including Architectural Digest and Interiors, and exhibited in museums such as The Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum and The Portland Museum of Art. She has been featured on Lifetime television, and has held a faculty position at the School of Visual Arts. Born and raised in New York City, she was appointed life member of The Art Student's League by 12, attended the High School of Music & Art (La Guardia) and earned her BFA from The School of Visual Arts. Lauren is especially gifted at trompe l’oeil painting and she also does faux finishes for Fortune 500 companies and individuals.

Augustus provides various restoration treatment support and frames, wraps and packages the large volume of artwork that comes in and goes out from Chelsea Restoration. Augustus holds an M.F.A. from Columbia University (2018) and, in addition to being a working artist, has held positions including Adjunct Faculty Drawing Teacher at Columbia Univesity, Freelance Art Mover and Studio Assistant.
